2 Days Kanchipuram Mahabalipuram Tour

In this tour package you journey from the present capital to the old capitals of the rulers where you explore the majestic temples and beaches.

Day - 01 : You start nearly at 7.30 from your Chennai hotel/airport. The pickup time can be adjusted according on your demand. When you reach your destination- Kanchipuram. Your expert tour guide will unravel you the facts and history of the various temples built in Dravidian style. Your private tour includes the visit of two prominent temples dedicated to Lord Shiva- Kailsasamathar temple which is the oldest existing Pallav Temple and the largest Ekambarnath Temple. Besides these temples you also visit Kamatchi Amman Temple, Varadraja swami Temple, Varkemtha Perumal Temple etc. In between you can have lunch at a good local south Indian restaurant and later you stroll through the Kanchipuram local bazaars as it is very famous for silk saree. Day - 02 : In the morning after an early breakfast you start for your private tour of Mahabalipuram also known as Mamallpuram. The drive would take nearly 2 hours covering a distance of 70 kms. This is an UNESCO site and was an important port on the olden age. Your sightseeing tour includes the visit of shore Temple, Sculptor Museum, Pancha Rathas, Ganesh Ratha, Mahabalipuram Beach etc. After finishing your tour you will be transferred back to chenna. This is nearly 60 kms far and would take nearly one and half hour. Your tour ends here.
