DAY 01: DELHI ARRIVAL

We welcome you on your arrival at the international airport in Delhi,transfer to your hotel,we start our tour of Delhi in the morning with a visit to Jama masjid this huge mosque in old Delhi is classical example of Mughal architectural finesse, this was constructed by Mughal emperor Shahjehan in the year 1656 ,you will get to know the normal humdrum of city life when you ride a human drawn rickshaw taking you to very busy alleys of the city. later you will get to see Red Fort built by Shahjehan in the year 1639 Indian prime minister addresses the nation from the red fort on the independence day 15th August. A war memorial in memory of Indian soldiers who laid their lives in world war I, The Lutyens Delhi is a paradise designed by the British architect Edwin Lutyens(1869-1944) You can now enjoy lunch at famous Indian restaurant ,we resume our sightseeing with a visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan once the residence of Viceroy of India. Tomb of Humaon a monument which is perhaps the motivation for the architect of famous Tajmahal many Mughal royalties are buried over here, we end our day with a visit to Qutub Minar a red sandstone minaret rising 73 meters(240 feet) built by Qutub ud din Aibak in 1693. In the Qutub complex, you will get to see Quwwat ul Islam mosque and an iron pillar which is more than 2000 years old. later overnight at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 02: AGRA TOUR

After breakfast we drive to Agra a city 220 km from Delhi in your Hire car , upon arrival at Agra you will be met and greeted by our representative, after check in at your hotel and lunch we start Agra Tour with the sightseeing of Agra Fort,this huge fort was constructed by Mughal emperor Akbar on an existing mud fort called Badalgarh, series of palaces constructed by descendants of Akbar depict emperors lifestyle and choice-Deewan e aam, Deewan e khaas, Musamman Burj, Khaas Mahal, etc. After Fort, we will proceed to a smaller monument which looks like Tajmahal and is called baby Taj-Etmad ud daulah it was made by the empress Noorjehan who was the wife of Emperor Jehangir, fine latticework and marble inlay is the specialty of this monument. The evening is reserved for a sunset view of the Tajmahal from rear side garden across river Yamuna, these gardens called moonshine gardens were used by the emperor Shahjehan to enjoy the beauty of Tajmahal in full moon night. overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03: AGRA – JAIPUR

Morning sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal will delight you as the first rays of the morning sun caress this marvel in white marble, your guide will narrate the story of the King who built this mausoleum in memory of his favorite wife. After the visit Taj Mahal tour and breakfast we leave Agra for Jaipur ,en route we will see the once abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri built by emperor Akbar taking 13 years for construction The emperor abandoned this once sprawling capital of the Mughal empire in another 13 years since then it has been desolate, the palaces are still in very good condition, Jodhabai palace, panch mahal, Deewan e khaas, Deewan e aam and a huge mosque with a 51 meter high gate called Buland Darwaza. Upon arriving in Jaipur we will take you to a Hindu temple- Birla temple for an evening Arti. overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 04: JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

We start our day with a visit to Amber fort-situated high upon a hill,you get an opportunity to ride a caparisoned elephant taking you to an enclosure inside the fort,you will see palaces constructed by the royalty of Jaipur ,the architecture is a fusion of Indo Islamic style, latticed windows and mirror work on the ceiling and walls of a palace called Sheesh Mahal will amuse you. The royalty of Jaipur still lives in a palace of Jaipur which will be our next destination,The city palace is the residence of the king of Jaipur this palace is housing a museum depicting period lifestyle,you can get to see a durbar complete with accouterments, also on exhibit over here are guns, textile, carpets a gallery housing artist and two pitchers made in sterling silver made to store 4000 liters of water in each one of them ,these were used by the Maharaja on his tour of England when he carried Holy Ganges water all the way to London. we also drive across the walled city of Jaipur, a planned city made in 18th century by Sawai Raja Jai Singh II, the entire city is draped in pink color. An observatory made in the 18th century for planetary and astronomical calculations is what we see next, huge sundial, various other yantras well explained by your guide, evening for a stroll in the bazaar.

DAY 05: UDAIPUR

We start on a 6-7 hour journey to Udaipur upon arrival in Udaipur you will be met and greeted by our representative this beautiful city is also called the city of lakes and you will get to do a boat trip on one of the biggest lake Pichhola.

DAY 06: UDAIPUR

After rejuvenating we set off on the city tour of Udaipur starting with City Palace of Udaipur on display here are palanquins, period furniture, arms etc. You will also see Sahelion ki barian amusement spot for the royal ladies, you can also join boating at Fatehsagar lake. Udaipur is also known as Venice of the east. Jagdish temple is our last destination over here, then you can go shopping in a local bazaar.

DAY 07: JODHPUR

After breakfast, we leave Udaipur for Jodhpur en route we will do the sightseeing of Ranakpur Jain temples. Jain religion is one of the biggest religion of India and Ranakpur is amongst the five most sacred sights of Jain religion, these temples made in white marble are known for exquisite marble craftsmanship, these temples were made in the year 1493 AD. Overnight in Jodhpur.

DAY 08: JODHPUR

We start our day with tour of Mehrangarh Fort, this fort covers the skyline of Jodhpur, many battles were fought over here and the high walls will give you a detailed version of its military might also on display over here are the exhibits on arms, textile ,palanquin etc with a huge corridor and latticed windows, you will be amused by the stories of valor and sacrifice orated by your expert guide. A memorial at the cremation grounds reserved for the royalty made in white marble called as Jaswant Thada is what we will see next, a visit to Umaid Bhawan a deluxe five-star hotel now is one of the last palace constructed by the royalty. The evening is for a stroll in the local bazaar at the clock tower of Jodhpur.

DAY 09: JAISALMER

Today on the drive to Jaisalmer the desert city of Rajasthan you will get to see the real desert. After arriving in the city of Jaisalmer the rest of the day is free for leisure activity.

DAY 10: JAISALMER

This city was once on the famous trade route connecting India with the west. The Bhati kings of Jaisalmer derived the major part of their income by levying taxes on the caravans, The high perched golden fort is a living fort with residential houses, one-third of the population of Jaisalmer still lives here, Jain temples and Hindu temples inside the high bastions of the fort. Raj mahal-the royal palace. later on, we visit Gadisar lake and havelis known for excellent stone craftsmanship. The evening is reserved for sunset at SAM a sunset point 45 km from the city where riding a camel you will get to see the sunset.

DAY 11: BIKANER

We will set on a drive to Bikaner a desert city founded by Rao Bika in 1488 ,we will start the sightseeing with a tour of Fort Junagarh built by the fifth ruler of Bikaner series of palaces and a museum will entertain you ,Lal Bagh palace the residence of Maharaja Ganga Singh the palace is built in Indo Saracenic style of architecture ,Evening is reserved for a visit to National research center on camel, once the lifeline of the desert, The ship of desert as camel is popularly known is researched over here ,this facility is on a 2000 acre plot of land. Overnight at Bikaner.

DAY 12: MANDAWA

Today we drive all the way to Mandawa known for excellently painted havelis, you can spend your day being overwhelmed by the beautiful painted frescoed havelis.

DAY 13: DELHI

You will be driven to Delhi(170kms)where rest of the day is free and your driver and we will see you off at the airport for a safe flight taking you back home with mrmories of Golden Triangle Tour with Rajasthan.
