Day – 01 : Delhi

 You will be received at the Delhi airport, transfer to the respective hotel. Delhi is the capital city of India; it has seen many a great emperor and empires. Today is a modern busting metropolis with wide roads. The English made Delhi a capital city building the entire city designed by a famous engineer architect Lutyens. Even today the city developed by him is called Lutyens Delhi. Old Delhi still remains unchanged it is characteristic by the narrow lanes, Bazaars, havelis right from the Mughal times, The culture is still unchanged, the street food is still unchanged. Today after breakfast we set off to discover the city Delhi. We start with a laid back walk around the commercial capital of Delhi known as Connaught place often called as CP. This is a unique and characteristic market built more than 100 years. Now housing many head quarters of famous Indian firms. After lunch we will another land mark of Delhi this is a Bahai temple made in shape of lotus temple popularly this is called lotus temple. This temple was dedicated to the common public in 1986. The building looks like a budding Lotus flower with 27 marble petals a huge hall underneath where more than 2500 can congregate. After lotus temple we will drive to Akshardham temple. Akshardham means the abode of the God. This temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. The temple is surrounded by rich flowing gardens. In the evening attend a special light and sound programme over here. Overnight at Delhi.

Day – 02 : Delhi-Chandigarh

After breakfast we begin early to the old Delhi our tour begins with Jama Masjid. This is one of the largest mosque in India made by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan from here you can enjoy a rick Shaw ride through the narrow lanes and by lanes of old Delhi. Later we also visit Red fort built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan we also visit Raj Ghat a memorial of the father of nation Mahatma Gandhi. After lunch we proceed to see some more monuments starting with Qutub Minar a 12^th century bride minaret and Humayun’s tomb which is the mausoleum of Mughal emperor Humayun. We also drive by India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Later transfer to station to catch your train to Chandigarh. Upon arrival in Chandigarh transfer to respective hotel.

Day – 03 : Chandigarh

Enjoy the lovely city of Chandigarh after the breakfast. We start with Sukhna Lake. A three and half km dam was constructed upon a seasonal rivulet called Sukhna. You can peacefully boat in the Sukhna Lake. There is a lake club at one end of the lake. As state of Punjab was divided between India and Pakistan and the capital city of Punjab went to the Pakistan side. India designed a new capital city for the state of Punjab a complete planned city designed by le Corbusier it has wide roads, dedicated shopping arcades. One of the garden made of scrap tens is worth a visit popularly known as Nek Chand garden its all made of scrap and useless goods. Enjoy the Punjabi lunch. After lunch proceed to visit the high court building of the state of Punjab and Haryana. After wards even the state of Punjab in India was further divided into states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal. Chandigarh is the Joint capital of Haryana and Punjab state. Also visit sector 17 which is the heart of Chandigarh. Day – 04 : Chandigarh-Shimla

After breakfast we will drive to the capital city of Himachal known as Shimla, it is the largest city of this hill state. The picturesque hills unfold a beautiful panorama to your eyes on your way to Shimla upon arrival we welcome you at the hotel rest of the day is at leisure. You can go for a walk on the famous mall road of Shimla overnight at Shimla.

Day – 05 : Shimla

Today we will explore Shimla. Shimla was the hill capital of British India. When the summer was unbearable in Delhi the viceroy used to come down to shimla. Today we will explore the ski slopes of Kufri and the romance of Chail with its enticing palace built by the Patiyala royals. A cricket pitch as high as chail the Pine clad hills with over looking Himalayan Peaks offer a breath taking view. In the evening explore the lakkar bazaar of Shimla for souvenirs enjoy your evening with ice cream Walla’s at the Ride overnight at Shimla.

Day – 06 : Shimla-Delhi

Today after breakfast we will drive to Delhi and your driver will bid good bye to you at the Delhi airport for an onward flight. Our tour ends.
